Does ReiverNet provide Support?
ReiverNet provides 24/7 telephone support all year round and can be contacted via the local number.

Does ReiverNet block any sites?
ReiverNet blocks sites that are known to contain malware such as viruses, worms and Trojans. It also prevents some phishing sites.

How do I connect to ReiverNet?
Plug in the ethernet cable, turn on your laptop and open a web browser to accept the terms and conditions. Alternatively if you are using the wireless network, enable your wireless adapter and choose the ReiverNet hotspot.

Can I use iPass?
Yes. ReiverNet is iPass compatible.

Is the connection secure?
Guests using a wired connection are completely separated from other guests in the hotel and are protected by a firewall when not using a public IP address. Wireless connections are less secure and guests are responsible for encrypting data they transfer and protecting their computers from unauthorized access.

How do I disconnect from a wired connection?
You simply unplug the cable from the computer.

How do I disconnect from a wireless connection?
You can browse to either http://local.ReiverNet.com/logout or click on logout on the usage monitor.

Can I access my VPN via the ReiverNet network?
Yes, our system is VPN compatible and a public IP address can be provided where required.
